'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star Kylie Jenner definitely has a lot of followers and fans including haters. It is well-known that the 17-year-old reality star and now one of the young fashion icons especially on social media, posts very influential photos and sports unique fashion statements that become fashionable trends.

And just like Jenner's famous hair-colored extensions that became a trend which prompted her to release her own Kylie Hair Kouture Extensions, her recent post on Instagram styling her hair with Cornrows became a big hit. Not only because it gained 1.2 million likes and 109,000 comments, but also, Jenner and 'Hunger Games' actress Amandla Stenberg sparked a racial debate.

Out of the hundreds and thousands that commented, one definitely was noticeable to many. Stenberg, who played the character of Rue in the hit movie series, commented on the photo that Jenner posted while wearing her Conrows, a midrib and a pair of jogger pants.

"When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur [sic] wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter," Stenberg reportedly wrote which was being screenshot and posted by many on social media.

Then, Jenner fired back writing, "Mad if I do...mad if I don't. Go hang w Jaden or something," she wrote mentioning her long-time childhood friend Jaden Smith, son of actors Will Smith and Jaida Pinkett-Smith.

After the viral conversation between the two stars, several of their followers debated with some writing, "ma make this clear, anyone NOT of African descent trying to pull off African culture is appropriating it. Point blank." And another wrote, "You do realize there are a lot of 'white' people that wear weave & extensions right?"

Meanwhile some social media users find that the issue is too small to gain this much debate. "I have no issue with her hairstyle," a user wrote. "I find this so funny that it's a big deal lol," the user added. "You look amazing," another person said while praising Jenner's braids. "Love the braids. You look good in them!"
