An insider reported to In Touch Magazine that Tyga proposed and Kylie accepted his proposal, after which she made the announcement to her family.

"She wants to get married as soon as she turns 18 in August", said the insider. That statement likely reminds people of Kim's situation.

Kim Kardashian, Kylie's older sister eloped when she was 19 years old, getting a divorce three years later.

According to the source, Kylie told her friends that Tyga gave her a "symbolic" ring, and that she is not going to show it to anyone until her birthday, when she will make an official announcement about it, as the couple is tired of hiding.

This is shocking news, but it is in stark contrast to what other insider reports are saying, which is that Kylie and Tyga are not rushing to marry or take any official steps in their relationship.

The pair is serious though, and according to Hollywood Life, the couple has put some thought into having children.
