'Kung Fu Panda 3' Plot Spoilers, Release Date NEws: Po’s Latest Look and New Villain Revealed in Leaked Chinese Trailer

Fans of 'Kung Fu Panda' have been keen to know about the story of Po and his martial artist animal friends ever since DreamWorks Animation and Oriental DreamWorks hinted about the third anime film of the series. A trailer of the Chinese version of the film leaked recently online revealed the latest villain whom Po and his friends will combat in the upcoming movie.

Latin Post reports that the 50-second clip with Chinese dialogue was uploaded on YouTube recently. While the Chinese dialogue made it difficult for the English-speaking audience to comprehend, the official synopsis of the 'Kung Fu Panda 3,' which was released sometime back, helped them to understand the events shown in the trailer.

During the end of the 'Kung Fu Panda 2,' it was suggested that Po will soon be meeting his real father, a panda that managed to survive the raid of their village, in the upcoming movie. The official synopsis of 'Kung Fu Panda 3' says that they are expected to revive their father-son relationship and travel "to a secret panda paradise to meet a score of hilarious new panda characters" in the next movie.

In addition, the video clip shows Po donning his well-known conical hat, but this time around, he also wears a cape to complete the look.

At the same time as Po and his father were away strengthening their father-son bonding, Kai, who is also known as "The Collector," has been touring throughout China to suppress all existing kung fu masters. As a result, Po is left with no choice, but to save the remaining kung fu masters and teach kung fu to his newfound panda friends with a view to drive away Kai.

Fans will also see the furious five friends of Dragon Warrior, including Tigress, Mantis, Monkey, Viper and Crane taking part in the action.

Meanwhile, stars who lent their voices to the group of funny characters have all returned in the third movie. While Jack Black reprises his role as Po, Angelina Jolie as Tigress, David Cross as Crane, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Lucy Liu as Viper and Seth Rogen as Mantis.

Jennifer Yuh, who directed 'Kung Fu Panda 2,' will also be at the helm of 'Kung Fu Panda 3' alongside animator Alessandro Carloni.

The movie will be released in 2D and 3D theaters on Jan. 29, 2016. An English trailer is also set to come out soon for U.S. viewers.
