Kristen Stewart News: 'Twilight' Star Talks Beauty, Fitness, & Opinion on Plastic Surgery
Apparently being naturally beautiful and physically healthy are two important things for former 'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart who revealed her beauty secrets and work-out regime at her recent cover for Harper's Bazaar. The brunette beauty currently wears her hair short and apparently still doesn't have a lot of appetite for fame and plastic surgery.
Stewart looked quite made up in her short hair and her light make up while wearing a pink ensemble for the cover of Harper's Bazaar for the month of June, shared her opinion on make-up, which is surprising to know that she does make-up sometimes and on plastic surgery which she says she is against.
The actress revealed that she doesn't do her own make-up but still loves putting on mineral make-up. "I either like being really [alluring] or insanely androgynous," the actress revealed adding, "I'm not great at applying make-up myself. My mom never taught me anything, she doesn't wear make-up...I like mineral make-up. You can't screw it up and it's not bad for your skin."
Still having the same aura in not caring about how she says things as long as she airs out her opinions, Stewart continues sharing her opinion on plastic surgery and if she would do it herself. "No, never. Never," she said when asked if she would ever take the plunge. "I am so freaked out by the idea of doing anything. And maybe that's completely arrogant but I don't want to change anything about myself. I think the women who do are losing their minds. It's vandalism," she added.
The former child star also reveals how she has her unique way in presenting herself when she attends galas or other Hollywood A-list things mentioning why her hair is always messy. "I don't like having nice hair, ever," she explains, adding, "There's something about it that pushes me over into feeling like I'm wearing a costume. So long as I can have my hair the way it normally is, then I can do everything else full on."
And when it comes to staying fit, Stewart also revealed that she is completely macho about it. When I'm in good shape I can do 40 push-ups in one go," she revealed adding, "If I'm not in good shape, I can do 10. If I am trying to get into shape and I want to be strong, I'll drop and do 20 every half hour throughout the day. I can do 250 push-ups in a day, which is pretty impressive. At the moment, I can do 20 comfortably. It takes me about a month to get into phenomenal shape with a trainer."
