Kristen Stewart News: 'Twilight' Actress Wants Role in Marvel Cinematic Universe

New reports are claiming that Kristen Stewart has revealed that she would love to star in a Marvel movie.

Stewart discussed her preference for playing "unpredictable" characters during her promotion for the film "Still Alice." The actress revealed that she enjoys watching DC Comics and Marvel films and she wants to show the viewers that she can portray a different character in an unusual setting.

Stewart played the lead role for "Snow White and the Huntsman," which can most likely open doors for a superhero role. The "Twilight" star added that she sees herself in a "Captain America" film.

The actress proceeded to talk about "Still Alice," which stars Julianne Moore who bagged several awards including an Oscars nomination. Stewart played the eldest child Lydia of Moore in the film and she has good things to say about the Oscar nominee. "Genius" is how she described Moore in the film.

The two stars have known each other for several years and Stewart revealed that Moore was a big factor why she got into the film. The young star knew that Moore would be able to do the part really well and so she hoped she could do the same since she loved the script.

After completing the "Twilight" franchise with her former boyfriend Rob Pattinson, Stewart stayed away from mainstream movies and starred in several indie films. The actress confirmed that she is not purposefully avoiding big films. As a matter of fact, she would love to do another big-budget movie but the important thing is she has to feel the character and the script similar to her experience with the hit "Twilight."

Stewart dreams of becoming a filmmaker someday and she is currently working on two short stories that she would like to develop more. However, the actress believes that she needs more time to realize her dream so she can do it slowly but surely.

As of this time, Stewart is currently enjoying a break from filming after her busy schedule for "Still Alice," which debuted in theaters a week ago.
