'Kobe Bryant's Muse' News: Lakers Legend Gives Fans Inside Scoop into His Life in New Documentary

Basketball phenomenon Kobe Bryant humbles himself in a documentary he worked together on with Showtime titled, 'Kobe Bryant's Muse'. In the documentary that aired on Saturday February 28th, Bryant goes deep into topics concerning his extreme discontent with failure, his upbringing, and even touches on some sensitive topics involving his family life.

"'Kobe Bryant's Muse' is more than a glorified highlight reel. Yes, there is great footage of him at every stage of his career, including air balls from his first season with the Lakers. But instead of focusing on Bryant's all-star games, championship rings and milestones -- like recently surpassing Michael Jordan on the NBA's all-time highest scorer list -- the filmmakers aim to go deeper, and darker. Chopra and Bryant, who executive produced the film and was involved every step of the way, explore some of the more complicated and conflicted emotions behind Bryant's success," writes Huffington Post.

For fans, this has been the first that they get to see the superstar in such a intimate way. In Bryant's longstanding career, he's never given spectators such an in depth look.

"I have things I want to think about," Bryant stated, "Things I want to dive into and get off my chest."

As the athlete nears the end of his legendary career, there are many things he feels are necessary to put to bed.
