While some of the movie industry's best were being celebrated by the Oscar's last night, popular Christian actor and filmmaker Kirk Cameron was recognized for being the worst at this year's 35th Annual Golden Raspberry Award (Razzie).

Unfortunately, the former "Growing Pains" actor won four awards at the best of the worst awards show. His film "Saving Christmas" received 'Worst Picture' and Worst Screenplay' while he won twice for 'Worst Actor' and 'Worst Screen Combo'. The combo was his "ego" in "Saving Christmas."

Other winners from the night include 'Worst Actress' Cameron Diaz for "The Other Woman" and "Sex Tape," 'Worst Supporting Actress' Megan Fox "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," 'Worst Supporting Actor' Kelsey Grammer for "Expendables 3," "Legends of Oz," "Think Like a Man Too," and "Transformers 4," and 'Worst Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel' "Annie."

Cameron's film "Saving Christmas" received bad reviews upon its release, most notably through Rotten Tomatoes who gave it a zero out of 100.

"Help me storm the gates of Rotten Tomatoes!," the actor instructed on an older Facebook post providing a link to the popular movie rating site, "All of you who love Saving Christmas - go rate it at Rotten Tomatoes right now and send the message to all the critics that WE decide what movies we want our families to see!"

Despite the heavy criticism of Cameron's latest holiday film the actor said over four million people came out to watch the film. The star asked his supporters to over shadow the negative reviews the film received by voicing their opinions.

According to Cameron, supporters came out in droves and he could not be happier with the level of support he received. "Wow, over 100,000 of you have shared the trailer for Saving Christmas," he wrote upon its release. 'Saving Christmas' hit theaters November 14 and has now been extended into 300 theaters surpassing its two-week release date.

'Saving Christmas' set out to help Christian skeptics understand why he celebrates Christmas and all of its festivities including Santa Claus. Throughout the years some evangelical Christians have disassociated themselves with celebrating Santa, claiming that it was a diversion from the true meaning of the season, Jesus and his birth. Along with Santa, Christmas day itself and all of its festivities have received a bad rep for its close ties to pagan origins. These accusations have been happening as early as the 1600's when the puritans banned Christmas, but Cameron set out to save the day.
