'Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV' Release Date: Film Is Action-Packed And Visually Captivating [TRAILER]
PlayStation has released the official trailer for Square Enix's "Kingslaive: Final Fantasy XV" and it features a gist of what to expect from the film with dynamic and high-definition sequences.
The trailer opens with the peaceful and magical kingdom of Lucis, which encompasses a wide area of land; led by King Regis, Lucis is enclosed by walls. Then, the following sequence introduced Niflheim, a military empire of vast machinery. It is revealed that a crystal gave prosperity to the land and its people; however, Niflheim made an attempt to conquer it.
Succeeding sequences showed combat between the two kingdoms, with Lucis' elite army, the Kingsglaive, doing their best with King Regis' power to defend their kingdom. Kingsglaive includes Nyx, who is highlighted as the one who will lead the battle between the kingdoms.
Since "Final Fantasy" features vast magical powers, such elements are set to be embodied by the upcoming film. The trailer features explosions, blaze, weapons, and force fields that will determine the ones who will stand up to the end.
The film stars Edard Saxby, Greg Blackford, Andrea Tivadar, Liam Mulvey, Adrian Bouchet, Jon Campling, Sean Bean, Amanda Piery, Lena Heady, Neil Newborn, and Aaron Paul, among others.
"Final Fantasy VII's" Takeshi Nozue is set to helm the film while "Saru Lock the Movie's" Takashi Hasegawa is on board to pen the screenplay. "Final Fantasy's" Hajime Taba is set to produce the film. As per Engadget, the film is also included in "Final Fantasy XV's" Deluxe and Ultimate Collector's Editions, which are set for a Sept. 20 release..
Nozue's "Kingslaive: Final Fantasy XV" is set to be released on Aug. 19. Watch the trailer here.
