'Kingdom Hearts 3' Xbox One & PS4 News: Which Characters Will Appear in KH3?

The developers behind the upcoming action role-playing game, "Kingdom Hearts 3' have not announced the release date yet, but they have confirmed some of the characters set to feature in the game.

According to various reports, the characters from the previous editions of "Kingdom Hearts 1.5' and "Kingdom Hearts 2.5' will be part of 'Kingdom Hearts 3', according to the co-director of the game Tai Yasue.

He also said that there these two editions will serve as a feature backstory for the upcoming edition. Yasue said the main intention behind this feature was to introduce the decade-old game to new gamers.

According to the VC Post, the game directors have worked double time in developing "Kingdom Hearts 3', while making the HD versions. Apparently, the the purpose of launching the HD versions was to reorient gamers and fans to the "Kingdom Hearts' universe that was released several year ago in different platforms, Yasue was quoted a saying.

In other news, the official website for the franchise, Square Enix, in the careers section, has enlisted a job to work for the Osaka branch.

The job description reads as follows, "In charge of general technical assistance (workflow construction, selection of middleware etc) in Implementing the high quality graphic expression or Kingdom Hearts III. In charge of construction duties for a shader on the game engine for nature representations (water, rain, snow etc) and special effects (magic etc) etc, constantly online games."

The game is being developed by Square Enix and published by Disney Interactive Studios for the platforms, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will be the first to get featured on a Microsoft platform, having previously only released on Sony Computer Entertainment and Nintendo platforms.
