'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date News, Rumors: New Mobile Mode, 'Unchained' Comes to Android & iOS [TRAILER]

Square Enix confirmed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 that 'Kingdom Hearts 3' is under development and now the action role-paying game is nearing release, but with some surprises. Apparently, the developers are exploring the idea of incorporating an online mode in the form of an additional gameplay into the widely played video game.

According to Latin Post, game director Tetsuya Nomura recently revealed that his team has "plenty of ideas are brewing" for an online mode of 'Kingdom Hearts 3.'

In a recent interview with Engagdet, Nomura said, "Online is certainly part of my wish list," adding, "We want gamers to play for a while and an online component helps this."

Although the previous 'Kingdom Hearts' title was released in 2002, gamers are still playing it till date.

Admitting that currently the developers are occupied with the main game, Nomura said they have definitely not put the online mode on the back burner. Currently, the developers are still working on the main campaign prior to checking how the online feature would perform with the general set-up of 'Kingdom Hearts 3.'

Nomura further added that the upcoming version of the game will incorporate more worlds compared to its predecessor. Already, the developers have listed which the worlds that can be considered on the game, but, as of now, nothing has been finalized. Therefore, what they included initially can still be removed from the final version of 'Kingdom Hearts 3.'

However, the game director did not confirm the rumors that 'Kingdom Hearts 3' will include the cold world of Elsa and Anna in 'Frozen.'

Meanwhile, Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for 'Kingdom Hearts 3' in E3 2015. PC Advisor reported that although the company is yet to announce the official release date of the upcoming title, some speculate that the developers will be ready to offer more details at the D23 event in Japan this November.

Here is some good news for smartphone and tablet users, as Nomura and co-director Tai Yasue have confirmed that a mobile version of 'Kingdom Hearts,' called 'Kingdom Hearts Unchained X,' will be available to iOS and Android soon.

Moreover, the game will soon be available for free on the Apple Store and Google Play.
