'Kingdom Hearts 3' News Update: Developer Promises A Big Storyline?

The developers of "Kingdom Hearts 3" have really been quiet about the development of the game. Either that, or they're just focused on other projects, such as the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV." Surprisingly, "Kingdom Hearts 3" game director Tetsuya Nomura released some information that may excite people eagerly awaiting the upcoming game.

According to Movie News Guide, Nomura has been targeting a release date of September 30 for the game. According to Gamepur, Nomura said that the project may be so big that it would be hard for everyone to contain and keep a secret.

"It's not that I've spread the story out, perhaps it's more that I've separated the parts that would have ruined [Kingdom Hearts 3's] tempo if they were told then. In fact, [Kingdom Hearts 3] is overwhelmingly big, so it's not that content has been shaved off, and it's something I've worried over how to handle," Nomura said.

Inquisitr provided more proof that the game would be bigger than ever. Apart from disclosing that Sora, Donald, Goofy will be back in the third installment for the game, the site also reported that the upcoming installment will have a huge story that will tie up loose strings together.

According to Venture Beat, co-director Tai Yasue, tying the story together is one of their targets in developing the story of the video game.

"Definitely. There's a lot of strings and a lot of strands in the previous Kingdom Hearts [games]. They all come together. Right now we're depicting the Dark Seeker saga, with Xehanort and his group that Sora's battling. Them and the other Keyblade masters will have a sort of showdown. And so I think all the - everything is going to come together at the conclusion of the Dark Seeker saga in part III," Yasue said.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" does not have a release date yet but we'll keep our readers posted regard that matter.
