Kim Richard News: RHOBH Star Gets Plea Deal Over Her Public Intoxication Arrest

After her public intoxication arrest last April, Kim Richards has received a plea deal. Last Monday, Los Angeles District Attorney's Office announced, the plea deal includes three years' summary probation and thirty days of community labor service.

In addition to the plea deal, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star must stay away from the Beverly Hills Hotel, the place where she was arrested.

Also part of the plea deal, she will have to attend 52 weeks of Alcoholics Anonymous and be away from the hotel where she was found guilty in.

Early morning of April 16, police came to the Polo Lounge of Beverly Hills Hotel as Richards allegedly refused to leave. According to the prosecutors, she allegedly kicked an officer on duty.

The star admitted that she is struggling with alcoholism and been in the rehab for checking. Richards was charged with three misconducts which include public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on cop.

"I am an alcoholic," she told Dr. Phil McGraw in a segment that aired Tuesday according to People Magazine, later adding, "I just want to do the right thing, and I want to be the strongest I can be."

According to Richard, her personal tragedies were somehow responsible for her present predicament. Personal tragedies continued to be triggers throughout her life, from the brutal murder of fiancé John J. Collett in 1991 to ex-husband Monty Brinson's current battle with cancer.

And she did it again, just this August 2, she was again arrested for allegedly shoplifting from Los Angeles Target. She spent the night in jail before bailing out with $5,000.

Richards continuing problems will keep her out from the next season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
