Kim Kardashian, looked amazing, as usual, as she walked down the red carpet alongside her husband, Kanye West, at the CFDA Awards in New York City, which took place on Monday, June 1st.

This was the couple's first outing since they revealed that Kim is pregnant with her second child, but things did not go exactly as planned.

Kim's dress caught on fire while she was at the award show, which was a terrifying experience until another star came to her aid.

Kim posted a photo of she and Kanye standing alongside Pharrell Williams, and his wife, Helen, on her Instagram, sharing with fans the scariest part of her evening.

"Shout out to Pharrell & [his wife] Helen who saved my life last night!" she captioned the picture. "After the awards at dinner, the feathers of my dress caught on fire from a candle & they jumped on me to get it out!"

Perhaps, the designer of the dress, Proenza Schouler should add a warning label to their gowns which reads "flammable."

Fans of Kim and the West family are all breathing a sigh of relief thanks to Pharrell and his wife springing into action before the situation got beyond all control.

Kim and the newest little West could have both been seriously injured.

Thankfully, it appears that Kim has gotten over the incident already, having added a playful hashtag to her caption, which read #WereOn[firemoji].

She handled the situation with style and class as usual, revealing no signs of shock or worry that her frock was so flammable and she may have been in great danger.
