Kim Kardashian definitely made a major wife effort in celebrating her husband's birthday. Kanye West, known to always be surprising his wife was definitely surprised this time around as Kardashian rented the whole Staples center for West's basketball-themed birthday party.

Indeed it is epic and really very sweet for Kardashian especially since she reportedly paid $110,000 to have the Staples center all to themselves with their family and West's closest friends including the famous NBA players.

Apparently, West loves playing basketball and Kardashian even previously surprised her husband with building their very own basketball court in their backyard. "He's obsessed w basketball," a source previously told E! News.

West and all his boys including Justin Bieber, Tyga, Pusha T and NBA stars Russell Westbrook, John Wall, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neal and Scotty Pippen all played together wearing their black and white jerseys with West's name written on the front.

According to a source of E! News, "Kim rented out the Staples Center so Kanye and his boys could play an NBA-style game with real refs and Laker girls!" the source said adding, "John Salley is the announcer. Houston Rockets player James Harden and rapper 2 Chainz are the coaches. John Legend sang the national anthem."

Of course Kardashian was there to greet her husband a happy birthday posting an earlier Instagram message for West writing, "Happy Birthday to my best friend in the entire world! You are the most amazing husband & dad! You inspire me every single day! You make all of your dreams reality & it's fascinating to be by your side & watching it all happen! You have a heart of gold! Have the best birthday ever! #SWISH."

Kardashian's sister and some of the Kardashian-Jenner family were even in attendance with Khloe Kardashian posting on Instagram writing, "Kim rented out staples [expletive]!!! Him and his boys are going to ball!!!! Happy birthday Yeezy!!!!"
