Kim Kardashian News: 'KUTWK' Star Talks Growing Up as a Shy Child at Time 100 Gala

One of the most influential people especially on the Internet, Kim Kardashian, attended the Time: 100 Gala and recently and shared that she was a shy kid and wishes she had more confidence growing up. The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star was in attendance at the event with husband Kanye West.

As West was scheduled to perform at the Gala with Tim McGraw who also brought his wife Faith Hill and their three daughters, Kardashian on the other hand answered a few personal questions while gracing the red carpet for the prestigious event.

Talking to 'Today' show host Matt Lauer, Kardashian revealed a few intimate details about her childhood when asked what advice she would give to her younger self. "I wish I had more confidence growing up," Kardashian responded.

While Lauer clarified asking if the reality star was insecure growing up Kardashian answered saying, "Not really insecure, I was just really shy," she said. Kardashian even shared how envious she was of her best friend who sometimes had a tastier lunch when they were kids.

"I always loved my best friend Allison [Azoff]'s lunch because she always got lots of Cheetos and Oreos," she said, "I was always stuck with really healthy food. I always begged her for some of her lunch," Kardashian added.

Meanwhile, in terms of relationships Kardashian also revealed what she learned from her experiences in that area. "You think you know so much about love when you're really young and then you look back later and probably realize it is not what you thought it was," she continued.

The mother of North West also shares that she values time with her family saying, "Time is always running out," she said, "I feel like there's never enough time to spend with your family and the people that you love," she added.
