Kendrick Lamar New Album News: Rapper Reveals Latest Collection Title & Release Date

The prolific Kendrick Lamar has excited fans with the news of his new album release date along with its title.

The rapper broke the news on his Twitter page, and it will reportedly be titled 'good kid, m.A.A.d. city', although the album currently appears as Untitled on iTunes, and is slated to be available on March 23rd.

With the recent release of his single 'The Blacker the Berry', the rap artist feels confident enough to move forward with his sophomore effort.

"It's really been a process about me grabbing from these different types of inspirations that I've been growing up off of and putting them into my own batch of hip-hop," Kendrick stated in a radio interview in November.

"Lamar made the reveal by linking to an iTunes page that contains only a few details about the new album: It will have 16 tracks including his most recent release, 'The Blacker the Berry'. but not, 'i,' the single he dropped last fall which earned him two Grammy Awards. The album is currently available for pre-order," writes NY Daily News.

Another untitled track he's performed on the 'The Colbert Report' is suspected to appear on the album.
