Keith And Kristyn Getty to Host Event For Nashville Worship Ministry And Church Leadership

Keith and Kristyn Getty treated Nashville church and worship leadership to a special Irish event this week. Over 170 attendees filled the hall at First Baptist Church in downtown Nashville, where they listened to devotional thoughts and insights into modern hymnody and church worship from the couple. A Q&A between the crowd and Getty couple followed the devotional segment. An authentic Irish luncheon followed the event. The meal included Celtic staples such as homemade Irish wheaten bread that was baked by Kristyn Getty.

The Gettys then performed Sunday morning at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, TN, and conducted interviews with such media outlets as American Family Radio, Campus Crusade for Christ Radio, and Faith Radio/Meeting House.

Then the Gettys will bring a joyful celebration with St. Patrick's at the Ryman on Sunday, March 17th at 7:00 pm at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. Along with the Gettys some special guests will include RUNA, Rend Collective Experiment, and the Nashville Irish Step Dancers, performing with traditional and modern Irish hymns and authentic Irish instruments.

The Gettys will perform selections from their current album, Hymns for the Christian Life.
