All can't have eternal love, but Kayla Ewell has been lucky enough to find it. The Vampire Diaries star wed the man of her dreams Tanner Novlan on Saturday evening after a whirlwind five-year romance.

The couple met and hit it off five years ago at the set of the music video for Maybe, the then-new single of the Australian band Sick Puppies.

 Ewell was called to act in the music video.

She shares, "It was my birthday, and I got a phone call to do a music video. I was with my girlfriend at lunch and she says like, 'It's your birthday and you got a phone call out of the blue to do this music video? I think you should do it!'"

Ewell says she always teases Novlan that he was the best birthday present she has ever received.

Ewell and Novlan became engaged over the past Christmas and New Year's holidays. She Instagrammed at the time, "I get to spend the rest of my life with this Man!!!"

Nolan tweeted of the engagement: "I got lucky."

The elegant ceremony was witnessed by nearly 200 of the couple's closest friends and family at downtown L. A.'s Jonathan Club.

The pregnant Candice Accola, one of Ewell's co-stars, was one of her six bridesmaids, and Nina Dobrev, former co-star, attended with her boyfriend Austin Stowell (Stowell starred in TV movie A Way Back Home with Ewell).

Other attendees were co-stars Michael Trevino, Zach Roerig and Sara Canning.

The wedding was planned by Michael T. Vega of Wish Wonder Dream and Ewell wore a stunning Monique Lhuillhier wedding dress.
