Katy Perry & Taylor Swift Feud News: Swift’s Fans Heckle, Boo ‘Firework’ Singer at London Festival [VIDEO]
While neither Katy Perry nor Taylor Swift has ever confirmed their feud, it appears that their fans have openly declared that the relationship between the two internationally famed pop singers is not rosy, to say the least.
Latin Post reports that Perry was heavily heckled at the British Summertime Festival held in London recently, when her image was projected on the giant screen on the stage.
A report in Hollywood Life stated that several fans of Perry are of the view that Swift's latest track, "Bad Blood," was inspired by the 30-year-old "Firework" singer. Apparently, the feud between the two singers started following the release of the song.
The two artists featured in a massive screen on the stage and as soon as the video montage played the crowd went into frenzy with loud cheers. The video clip, which lasted for 17 seconds, displayed the images of all the artists who were made it to the Top 40 list of London's 95.8 Capital FM.
Although the huge crowd greeted Swift's image with excited hoots, Perry's image did not receive the same courtesy. On the contrary, the image of the "Roar" singer was booed very loudly, and this was also recorded on video. When Perry appeared on the screen, she got booed two times as well.
It is worth mentioning here that one should not put all of the blame on Swift's followers. Nevertheless, it was obvious that Swift got a lot of love from the festival crowd, while Perry was certainly not the favorite artist of the audience.
