Kate Middleton New Baby News: Duchess of Cambridge, in Her Third Trimester, Adds Artistic Touch to Mural

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, already in her third trimester, arrived at Ben Ainselee Racing Thursday dressed in a white Max Mara coat and Alice Temperley dress ready to add her artistic touch to a harbor side mural and test her skills on a simulated sailing machine.

While touring the mural and adding her painting, Kate, 33, revealed how she had been painting with Prince George earlier in the day and how much he would have enjoyed the excursion.

The event took place on a Quay in Portsmouth where a new yachting center is in development.

One participant gave her a gift intended for young George and Kate took the opportunity to joke with gatherers that Prince William would be disappointed when he saw the tiny Portsmouth soccer kit as William is an Aston Villa fan.

The event gave Kate the opportunity to interact with children in attendance from the Mayfield School located in the city.

Children greeted the Princess with paper flowers and well wishes.

During the painting, Kate joined in and was jovial and interactive. Everyone on-site described her as being lovely and very friendly.

According to Paul Gonella who coordinated the painting of the mural said Kate "... Did a good job. To be put on the spot in front of so many people is hard but she did well."

Kate was looking well and rested after a break spent in sunny Mustinque. This is not her first time to Ben Ainslie Racing; she became a royal supporter of the 1851 Trust, which is a charity committed to inspiring young people to develop a passion for sailing.

Ben Ainslee is a sailing giant, known around the world for his five-time medaling in consecutive Olympic games.

The Duchess of Cambridge had other visits with children with disabilities earlier in the week and was described by all as glowing with health.
