Kanye West Says Next Album 'So Help Me God' is a 'Joyful Noise Unto the Lord'; Is 'Yeezus' Personality Gone? [VIDEOS]
World famous hip-hop artist Kanye West has always been outspoken about his viewpoints regarding his relationship with God, and yet some people question whether or not the 'Yeezus' alter ego is actually demonic in origin.
Ever since the debut of his popular "Jesus Walks" song in 2004, the rapper has been talking about his fascination with the Son of God in various different albums and interviews.
In a recent conversation with Vulture, West compared his new album So Help Me God to classic gospel song "Amazing Grace," stating that both inspirational musical masterpieces came out of horrible situations, highlighted by the song "Only One" which deals with him still coping the passing of his beloved mother Donda West.
West's mom Donda died on November 10, 2007, due to heart disease after plastic surgery.

"It's a joyful noise unto the Lord. It is still the struggle, but it's the beauty from the struggle - like the song 'Amazing Grace' - coming out of the worst pain possible and making the most beautiful song possible. I want to perform 'Only One' as many times as possible," said West to Vulture.
Nevertheless, West has been criticized in the past by some members of the Christian community. He explained that the reason why he made the "I Am a God" song is because he thinks he is in fact a god. The "I Am a God" song is one of the songs that was featured on West's Yeezus album two years ago.
"Yeezus is just as blasphemous as Jay Hova [aka Jay-Z]. Nothing new, unfortunately," wrote Christian rapper God's Servant on his Twitter page on May 22, 2013.
In addition, West and his longtime friend and colleague Jay-Z have been previously accused of being members of the Illuminati, an alleged elite group that uses subliminal Satanic messages in order to influence the world.
According to the iPost website, West has allegedly shown occult images several times in his work including a promotional photo for 'Yeezus' which displayed an inverted cross - reportedly a symbol of Satanism. To see more on these claims, click here.

However, West explained that his alter ego 'Yeezus' is not blasphemous at all. He said he came up with that moniker because Jesus Christ is the most influential being in his life.
"I'm Christian, and I'm hip-hop. So you mix those two things together, and you want to express yourself a certain type of way, and be bold. I wanna be like Christ. That's not to say I have a god complex. But it's like, if people pick a favorite Halloween character it's like, that's what I would pick! Don't people pick people that they look up to?," said West to 106 KMEL Hip Hop and R&B radio station in San Francisco, where he promoted his former album 'Yeezus' in 2013.
Reports suggest the rapper's upcoming album So Help Me God will release on May 10, 2015, but that has not been confirmed by West yet.
