Kanye West New Album 2015 News: Rapper Changes Title of Upcoming Music Release to 'SWISH'
In a very unconventional fashion, rap artist Kanye West has recently announced the fact he will be changing the title for his upcoming album to 'SWISH.' The album's initial title was 'So Help Me God.'
The name switch comes off as bit compulsive, as it is believed that his album will drop sometime this month. We however will not know the exact date, as the artist has previously stated that he doesn't believe in release dates anymore, and that he will be adopting the trend of artist's such as Beyonce, and dropping it without notice.
West also doesn't want fans to get too comfortable with the new title, as he followed his first tweet with saying:
"I might change it again but that's the name right now."
It is for right now unclear what West's new title is in reference to. It is speculated to possibly be a nod to the deal he recently signed with Nike, or perhaps his wife, Kim Kardashian, as he captioned the photo he posted of her with "SWISH."
Currently the only single we've received from West are "All Day." In an interview with Power 105.1, West spoke on what we can expect from the new project. He states:
"My last album was a protest of music. I was like, 'I'm gonna take my ball and go home'. . . I didn't even have no music. I just let y'all have a little music on 'Bound,' but that was it. But this album is just embracing the music, embracing joy and just being a service to the people."
West's albums usually reflect on what he's currently dealing with in life, and hearing him speak on embracing music indicates him being in a positive place.
