Kanye West and Rihanna News: Singers Collaborate for an Upcoming New Song
"Diamonds" singer Rihanna and "Monster" rapper Kanye West are ready to take the world by storm. Word has it that the celebrity artists could be collaborating on their next song: an idea that has been driving fans wild all over major social media networks.
The gossip got out when Kanye West interrupted a presentation at the iHeartMedia Music Summit on Jan. 21 to talk about his music. The celebrity singer, songwriter, and rapper talked for 45 minutes, entertaining the crowd and rallying his fans before he dropped the bomb: he would be performing a duet with Rihanna.
26-year-old Rihanna and 37-year-old Kanye West are no strangers to each other. They have worked together several times before - and they were very successful. Two of the pair's biggest hits, "All of the Lights" and "Run This Town", each led to hundreds of millions of views and the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Due to the last two hit songs, a third song is not only highly anticipated, it is a potential hat trick! Sounds like the award-winning singers are looking at another Grammy.
Reportedly, the third song will be a sequel to "All of the Lights". It will feature an acoustic guitar and a melody with a major hook. Kanye previewed the untitled song for the Music Summit, but only for a moment. Then he slammed his laptop shut and walked offstage. Talk about a teaser!
On a side note, the collaboration may also feature artists like Ty Dolla $ign and Paul McCartney.
