Casual fans may look at this matchup and give the immediate advantage to Real Madrid, but it appears that the Italian club is not ready to concede that just yet. While facing the defending European champions, who Juventus playmaker Andrea Pirlo calls "the most important club in the world," he insists his side will face the Los Blancos absent of fear.

Said Pirlo, "We have the same chances as they do to progress. We weren't ready for the Champions League in previous years, but this team has gained experience and we know we can do well and play without fear. Now that we're here, we want to go all the way."

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was less bold, but agrees Juventus will be ready when they host the Spanish giants in Turin. "It's a semifinal, they are the champions of Europe, so compared with us they could have a slightly better chance; but it's not a semifinal where you can say we've got nothing to lose. We can lose the chance of being in the final. We've got to remember what we've done so far, that we have a chance, while not forgetting that we're up against very strong opponents."

Real Madrid will get the services of Welshman Gareth Bale back from an ankle injury, and Marcelo will similarly be available for the first leg after serving his one match ban.

The scoring trio of Madrid could be without one its pegs as Karim Benzema is questionable for the Turin trip. Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, and Benzema have scored 92 goals for the Los Blancos this season, which as more than the total Juventus has managed this season.

Said Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, "At the moment we're in good form. We had a bit of a problem in January and February, but the players are confident. We had some injuries, but we are able to cover them really well. We are confident we can get to another final."
