Justin Bieber News: Pop Star Pays Tab For NYPD Officers, Comedian Kevin Hart Set as Roastmaster
The young pop star idol seems like he is truly preparing to change his image with his random act of generosity last week.
At a Comfort Diner in Midtown NYC, Bieber was spotted sitting beside a crew of police officers. At the end of their meal, he decided he would pick up their $200 tab.
"This is despite the pop star's numerous run-ins with the law - unless maybe he's just trying to make nice. In any case, according to TMZ, Bieber spent about $200 on dinner for five cops, which is probably like a pocketful of change for him. Now if he had done something like this at Bowery Meat Company, instead of a diner, that would have been impressive," writes NY Eater.
The singer also took a picture with the officers to commemorate and document the experience. Bieber also posted the picture on his Twitter hashtagged #NYPD.
This act of kindness has subsequently preceded after his public apology in his Facebook video, in which the pop idol expresses his remorse for his past actions and how he wants people to understand that he "genuinely cares".
Bieber's image rehab is taking a turn for the better as he has also signed on to be the next target at Comedy Central's Roast on March 14th. It has also recently been revealed that comedian Kevin Hart will serve as the 'Roastmaster'.
"I don't normally do roasts but I had to step out for my guy Biebs...It's his big 21. It's about to be operation roast everyone's a**," says Kevin Hart.
Also confirmed to appear is Jeff Ross and Hannibal Buress.
