Justin Bieber News: Pop Star Confirmed for Comedy Central Roast

Justin Bieber will be the subject of a Comedy Central Roast which will be aired March 7, according to Us Weekly.

Bieber, who has always wanted to be a part of the show, finally gets a chance to be roasted on the Comedy Central's roast.

A source close to the 20-year-old singer said, "Justin has been asking us for years to roast him, so we kept telling him to create some more material and we're thrilled he listened," according to Ryan Seacrest's website.

This will be Bieber's second time, being the butt of the jokes. Recently, he was on Saturday Night Live. Bieber was mocked on the show when Kate McKinnon spoofed his Calvin Klein ad campaign. The tweets and Facebook posts unveiling the brand ambassador, with a caption that read "Officially part of the legacy," which managed to generate almost a million likes.

Comedy Central Roasts is a series of celebrity roast special which airs on the Comedy Central cable network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

On his twitter account, Bieber posted, saying, "For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me. They said only if I provided them w/ more material so for a year now I have worked hard."

The last roast on the show was James Franco while Seth Rogen played the roastmaster. The Roast aired on Labor Day, September 2nd.

Although Bieber's roastmaster is not yet announced, previous roastmasters have set the show on fire, who include Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader, Jonah Hill, Nick Kroll, Natasha Leggero, Jeff Ross, Andy Samberg, and Sarah Silverman.
