Some fans are thinking that pop star Justin Bieber just can't escape embarrassing himself these days, as he surprised Ariana Grande at the American Airlines Arena, for the Miami leg of her hit tour on Saturday, only to forget the lyrics to the song he meant to duet with her.

Bieber meant to fill in The Weeknd's verse in Ariana's 'Love Me Harder', but halfway through singing started to quietly murmur the rest. He later apologizes to the crowd and Ariana.

"I feel a little bad, I forgot the words!" Bieber stated, "Ariana, I've been trying to memorise it backstage for like an hour."

He even eventually took to Instagram to post a clip of the performance with the caption:

"Had fun with u Ariana, even tho I forgot all the words haha [sic]."

Ariana later expressed that was not bothered with the performance and stated that the crowd probably didn't even notice.

The pop star's apology is speculated to perhaps be a bid for his reformed "bad guy" persona. The Justin Bieber most knew about a year ago would most likely be reluctant to even acknowledge the flop.
