Justin Bieber New Song News: 'Intertwine' with Rapper Lil Twist
Justin Bieber recently talked about taking a break from the music scene, however, that did not stop the pop star from making music with his friends. Recently, rapper Lil Twist asked his buddy, Justin Bieber, to work with him on a new song for his mixtape, The Golden Child 2.
One song in the collection, "Intertwine," is described to be a slower, more soulful sound than Lil Twist's usual music. In the song, Lil Twist raps while Justin Bieber croons the chorus, "We can intertwine... What's the use of being lonely?" The song has made its way onto several social media sites including Soundcloud and YouTube.
However, this is not the first time the dynamic duo has worked together. In 2013, Bieber and Twist also worked together on "Twerk." While, Miley Cyrus was involved in a collaboration with them for a song called, "Wherever You Are."
Unfortunately, Twist and Bieber's relationship reached a rough patch when the rapper's mentor, Lil Wayne, accused Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, of throwing dirt onto Twist's reputation. In May of 2014, the scandal was rumored to have ended the relationship between the two young stars. Fortunately, it looks like this celebrity friendship is still standing strong.
Evidently, fans of Justin Bieber knew to expect new music from their favorite singer. Scooter posted a message on Instagram that read, "2013 was practice... 2014 was the warm up... 2015 is game time." On that note, Bieber has confirmed a new album to come out sometime this year.
The collaboration was a happy surprise for us all, but Bieber and Twist may not be done partnering yet. In 2010, the pair mentioned the plans of a joint mixtape. With the success of "Intertwine", we may see a partnered mix in the future!
