'Justice League' Part 1 Casts Willem Dafoe; Green Arrow And Black Canary To Join Superhero Film?

The hype about "Justice League: Part One" is starting and updates about the upcoming DC films are beginning to invade the Internet. Veteran actor Willem Dafoe is said to join the superhero film.

While he was one of the villains of Marvel films, he will be portraying as a good guy for the DC flick, notes The Hollywood Reporter. However, his role is still being kept under wraps so fans might need to wait for further announcement.

Meanwhile, J.K. Simmons is confirmed to play as the Gotham City Police Commissioner Gordon. For the villain, Warner Bros. is about to confirm if the DC bad guy Darkseid would be the antagonist, who was hinted at in the recent "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

On the other hand, Movie Pilot speculates that Black Canary and Green Arrow might join the pool of superheroes as well. According to the website, Black Canary could be given an opportunity to appear on the film, the fact the she was killed on the TV series, "Arrow."

"The idea of a rebirth somewhere down the line, in another canon, in another life, provides a glimmer of hope. The Black Canary's journey is not over," as quoted from the website. Meanwhile, the website states that bringing Green Arrow to the show could add more spice to the plot.

THR noted that Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg, respectively, would be the perfect lineup of superheroes.
