'Justice League Dark' Cast News, Rumors: Guillermo Del Toro May Not Be Involved with the Project

Contrary to previous claims, director Guillermo del Toro may not be connected to the 'Justice League Dark' project, in fact the movie hasn't yet been confirmed by Warner Bros. and DC.

In an interview with IGN in a press event for, 'The Strain' he commented on his stance:

"We turned in our [script] revision, and it all depends on the calendar, you know? If I can do it, I would love to do it. And I think the screenplay and the characters are very solid."

It seems as if Del Toro will be waiting on the word from the studio, however if it is to conflict with his schedule, he may still pass on it. Since the movie wasn't officially announced in DC's huge movie lineup, the film isn't projected to get underway for quite some time.

"You cannot say, 'Yeah, I'll do it after I do this,' or 'I have the first season of The Strain. [Justice League Dark] needs to fall into the plan of the DC Universe."

While it may be a while for the movie to get a green light, fans at least know Del Toro is in someway interested with the project.
