'Jurassic World' Movie Cast News, Official Trailer: Chris Pratt Takes on Rogue Dinosaur

2015 promises to be an exciting year for movies with the release of 'Jurassic World'. The fourth installment in the classic action adventure film franchise finally returns to us after 14 years, and in director Trevorrow's words, "An opportunity to cater to the new generation."

"Colin Trevorrow directed the film while Steven Spielberg, who created the past "Jurassic Park" films, serves as the executive producer," says to Latino Post.

The movie is set to be released in theaters on June 12, 2015 in 2D, 3D, and iMax. As far as actors, we'll be seeing Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus, and Andy Buckley all appear in this film.

The movie will be taking place 22 years after the original, on the island of Isla Nubar. Trouble ensues when one of the hybrid dinosaurs goes rogue. Actor Chris Pratt plays a scientist who gets caught in this occurrence while doing behavioral research on the Raptors.

When asked in an interview with Slash Films, about what will be making this movie different from previous 'Jurassic Park' titles, the director responded:

"We're trying to tell a bold new story that doesn't rely on a proven formula, because the movies we watch over and over again are the ones that surprised us, that worked when they shouldn't have."

The director also makes an engaging point about rebooting movie franchises, and "ruining childhoods". With the series being such an iconic '90s title, many older viewers will for sure be a bit more critical of this movie's release in the new era.

Trevorrow retorted with, "I understand the risks of leaving the safe zone. But with all this talk of filmmakers 'ruining our childhood,' we forget that right now is someone else's childhood. This is their time. And I have to build something that can take them to the same place those earlier films took us. It may not happen in the same way everyone expects it to, but it's the way I believe it needs to happen."

An exciting trailer has been released to get us all ready for this upcoming prehistoric adventure.
