'Jurassic World 2' News, Rumors: Some Scenes Set To Be Shot In United Kingdom

"Jurassic World 2" is not too far away from starting production and recent reports claim that it is on the way to the United Kingdom to film some scenes.

According to reports, J.A. Bayona will take care of the directing while Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connoly will work together on the screenplay of the movie. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will also reprise their roles in the upcoming "Jurassic World" sequel.

Due for release in 2018, "Jurassic World 2" is currently titled "Jurassic World: Ancient Futures."

As of now, the film has already begun recruiting crew for its shoot as it gears up for production later this 2016.

While details about the upcoming film remain scarce, some have recently been brought to light.

First is that part of the film will be shot in UK, although that does not mean that the entire film will be set in Britain. According to reports, the movie will just use some facilities and studio space in the UK to facilitate the production.

Secondly, the current working title of "Ancient Futures" may not be anywhere close to its final title, since working titles are often used to just hide what the movie actually is. Such was the case in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which was previously put under the working title "Foodles Productions Ltd."

Meanwhile, Trevorrow told in his interview with British Wired Magazine that the upcoming film won't be limited to theme parks.

"I feel like the idea that this isn't always going to be limited to theme parks, and there are applications for this science that reach far beyond entertainment," he said.

"Jurassic World 2" is set for release in 2018.
