Josh Wilson Talks 'Carry Me' Sequel at K-LOVE Fan Awards 2014 (VIDEO INTERVIEW)
BreatheCast had the opportunity to catch up with contemporary Christian singer Josh Wilson at the K-LOVE Fan Awards 2014 where he spoke about spending a fun weekend with the fans and his new album.
Wilson played "Amazing Grace" at the Songwriter's session with the fans. "It was awesome. It was so much fun. It was a packed, I was so grateful to everyone that listened, and what a fun day to have the fans able to see the tour bus, memorabilia, and shoot hoops and stuff. It was fun to play during that," he said.
When asked about his future plans and about a new album, he said he was working on it, and it could be out in 2015.
"Probably in the spring. I'm writing right now. My most recent album is called Carry Me and working on new music right now though."
The singer was also chosen as one of the artists to get featured on a Pepsi can along with Jamie Grace, Casting Crowns, Tenth Avenue North, and For King & Country.
"It's five states. I think it's someone close to seven million cans of Diet Pepsi," he said. "There's going to be a song of mine to download, which is so cool. Someone who may not know about K-LOVE or even go to church could end up hearing Christian music because of the soda they drink."
Wilson's Carry Me came out on April 9 and received rave reviews from various music outlets. The singles so far are "Carry Me" and "Pushing Back the Dark."
