Johnny Depp News: Actor’s French Village Estate Set for Sale at $26 Million
Apparently, 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Johnny Depp has a lot of room in his estate as he is now selling his French Village estate for an amount of just $26 Million. Depp is indeed one of a kind as he doesn't just own a single house or a mansion, but a whole village!
It is definitely one estate to go look for, especially those who can afford the whopping amount soon, as it has also been revealed by several reports that the village estate includes all the furniture handpicked by the star as well as some of his personal belongings.
Indeed Depp really wants a new environment to live in, probably a new village if he still desires to live on the large side. The village estate is reportedly located in the South of France which the actor bought in 2010 and renovated the 37-acre property for $10 Million and making it into a phenomenal village according to his taste.
Yes it is fully according to his taste as Depp's French village estate was not even touched by any fancy interior designer but by himself only, choosing each furniture in each of the houses on the compound including several cottages, poolside and the 10,760-square-foot, 12-bedroom, 12-bath main house according to his own style.
Indeed the purchaser would be living in Depp's own property designed and decorated by him. "Contrary to many other properties of major international celebrities, Johnny Depp's estate has not been decorated by an interior designer, but by Johnny himself," the listing agent, Sotheby's Alexander Kraft explained on the listing. "As a consequence, the estate is not a ritzy showplace, but an utterly charming family home that truly reflects Johnny Depp's unique character and taste."
So it is definitely one gigantic property to consider. "The asking price actually includes all of the property's furniture and a great number of personal belongings of Johnny Depp. Thus, the purchaser will be able to not only acquire an exceptional property, but also many personal items of one of the greatest stars of our times," Kraft added.
