Who knew pirates had such big hearts, well apparently Captain Jack Sparrow played by actor Johnny Depp has one huge heart as he recently paid a quick visit to a children's hospital in Australia all dressed-up in his famous Disney costume.

Apparently this is always how the renowned actor, Depp travels whenever he is in a certain country for a shooting of his films and other work-related trips. He reportedly always make sure that he visits a hospital or any institution of kids in need.

This time, Depp, who was then wearing his Captain Jack Sparrow outfit from the famous film series 'Pirates of The Caribbean' went for a quick visit at the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital just to put big smiles on the children's faces. Depp was focused on visiting those children who couldn't get up from their hospital beds, giving them hugs or taking fun photos with them.

Reportedly, Depp or Capt. Jack Sparrow rode a black helicopter to go to the hospital and when the children saw him, they were so happy that Depp made their day special. "He was going from room to room seeing all the kids who couldn't get out of bed," a mother of a patient named Max Bennet, Rachel told ABC.net in Australia. "We waited out of the front of one of the rooms, and he came up to us and had a really good chat to Max."

Rachel continued to describe how Depp was very compassionate with the children saying, "It was really beautiful. Everyone kept on trying to move him on, but he kept on coming back."

Depp always had a big heart for children even telling it himself in his previous interview with E! News. "Sometimes you go to kiddie hospitals and things like that," the actor explained while promoting his film The Lone Ranger in 2013. "I'll just sneak in and go and surprise a bunch of kiddies through the different wards...It basically turns into a two-, three-hour improvisation and it's really fun. So I travel with Captain Jack," he added.
