Chad Stahelski and David Leitch have responded to the fans and are currently in production for a sequel to 'John Wick'.

The movie has only released a couple months ago and has been a huge hit with action thriller fans all alike. The movie not only highlighted the young duo in their aptitude in directing, but Keanu Reeve's competency in an action role after many years.

In a recent interview with Movies.com Stahelski and Leitch have officially announced that they are already working on a sequel, and plan to outdo the original.

Stahelski commented:

"We have ideas for days and without blinking twice we know we can outdo the action from the original," Stahelski said, "It's the matter of story and how much you like the character. That's always the most important. If there's great action but you have a character that no one likes and doesn't have charisma you're not going to watch it. Look at any great action star, whether it's Harrison Ford or Liam Neeson or Robert Downey Jr., pick a name, you love the guy first. Good action, bad action, you just love them in action. So we want to make sure we have a story and a character that everybody loves and then we'll dress it with action that we promise will be awesome."

Leitch added:

"You gotta go on a journey with the guy and have to like the guy."

When asked if Keanu would be back they avoided a direct answer.

"If we could work with Keanu Reeves for 10 movies you'd have a really cool career," Stahelski says.

There is no current word on the story or release date.

The two directors' current project involves Chris Pratt in 'Cowboy Ninja Viking'.
