John Tibbs 'Dead Man Walking' Lyric Video Premiere [BREATHEcast Exclusive]
BREATHEcast was given the wonderful opportunity to premiere the lyric video for singer/songwriter and worship leader John Tibbs' "Dead Man Walking" off his EP of the same name.
The Dead Man Walking EP will arrive on October 30, and his first full length Fair Trade Service debut will release in spring 2016. The EP can be preordered here.
The lyrics to Tibbs' single are inspiring and powerful. They are a great reminder of Christ's ability to restore us even when we have nothing left - "Your love, Your love it set me free/ O No guilt no shame got a hold on me/ I was a dead man walking until You gave me life."
The video displays these convicting words with fitting visuals - an endless highway at night. It represents the journey with God reflected in the song. A Christian person's walk sometimes feels like it is on a long tedious road, and just when they are ready to nod off, Jesus kicks in like a shot of coffee to keep the trip going.
