John Stamos News: 'Fuller House' Actor Checks into Rehab a Month After DUI Arrest

John Stamos, the fifty one year old actor, is currently in rehab. The star, known best for his role in Full House, has entered treatment after being arrested for driving under the influence in Beverly Hills, California on June 12.

On the same night, the actor was hospitalized for a medical condition. Following the incident, Stamos shared the following tweet with his fans.

"Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I'm home & well."

Stamos is set to star in a Netflix reboot of Full House, called Fuller House, as well as a new Fox sitcom, Grandfathered, both of which are set to premiere this fall.

The Beverly Hills Police Department pulled Stamos over at a quarter to eight on June 12th, according to a report from PEOPLE magazine.

Police officers apprehended the actor, and had paramedics take him to a local hospital shortly after, according to TMZ.

He was cited for DUI and released to the hospital in order to receive care for his condition, which is as yet unknown.

Stamos is set to appear in court on September 11th.

This not the first time that Stamos has shown signs of having a problem linked to alcohol consumption.

Stamos appeared on an Australian television talk show in 2007, on which he slurred his word and made rude gestures in front of the show's host, Kerri Anne Kennerley, before wandering around the studio in a daze, according to the New York Post.

He later admitted to being drunk during the interview.

Fans of Stamos hope that now that he has sought out help, he will have a speedy recovery and remain healthy and sober.
