Joel McHale News: Takes on Ariana Grande's Donutgate in Epic Rant
Singer Ariana Grande definitely has a lot of explaining to do for her fans, followers and apparently to Joel McHale as well. After the widely exposed video of the young singer Grande on a doughnut place and saying she hates America a week after the country celebrated its Independence day, several people and other comedy hosts have since then talked about and even mimicked the singer and actress' recent video.
It was a hilarious segment of The Soup's host, McHale in mimicking the singer and ranting about what she recently did saying, "I hate Americans, I hate America" after eating a doughnut. McHale thought it was really funny so he tried it on his show making it the perfect opportunity to rant about what the singer did.
"I hate your ponytail, but you don't see me ruining pastries over it!" McHale said jokingly who was in his usual funny self while hosting the Friday show on E! what's even more hilarious is that McHale had in front of him a doughnut that he prepared just for the segment.
He ate the pastry and delivered his hilarious line that is circulating all over the internet having the fans remember the still unexplained statements of the singer. It was not just McHale who was recently connected with Grande's "I hate America" statement.
Just a few days ago, Demi Lovato was also thought of ranting and dissing on Grande at her previous performance at the MLB all-star game concert singing "Made in the USA" and asking the audience, "How many of you guys are proud to be an American?"
But just when people started gossiping about her performance, Lovato was quick to deny that there was any connection between her and Grande's statements. "Didn't get to sing 'Made in the USA' on the 4th because I was singing #COOLFORTHESUMMER. No shade-stop the bulls--t," Lovato wrote on her Twitter account asking people to stop the fuss about her and Grande. "I know it's a little late but I didn't get to sing this song on the fourth," she added.
And on the question she asked about how many are those proud that they are American to the audience, Lovato also wrote, "ALSO-I ALWAYS ask that when I sing that song," she wrote on Twitter adding, "Can't y'all let a girl shine for one night? Smh." Meanwhile, there are still no official statements coming from Grande regarding the video of her.
