Music is the universal language. It seeps into every corner of the world through endless variations of tones, rhythms, and dialects. Some songs resonate with us so deeply that they can change our hearts and minds forever. One of those songs is "We Offer Christ". The classic was originally sung as an invitational hymn at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans and recorded by Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. and The Greater St. Stephen Mass Choir in 1993 on the album WE OFFER CHRIST.
Written by prominent composer and musician Joel (Joey) Britton, the song is still sung across the globe to this day with more conviction and power. And, in this new season, Britton offers a new version of the epic song "We Offer Christ Again"."We Offer Christ Again" features an extraordinary line-up of guest musicians and vocalists. Britton, who is also the arranger and pianist on the song, commissioned musicians Jonathan DuBose, Jr (guitar), Andrew Gouche (bass), and Jevon Brown (keys/drum programming) to record on the track. Featured vocalists include Bishop Lester Love, Zacardi Cortez, Annabeth Marcus, and Stellar Award-nominated duo Jovaun & Jerard Woods.
