Jodi Arias Trial Update: Official Sentencing to be Streamed Live via Raw Feed

The Jodi Arias Trial will finally see some results on April 13, 2015, when the convicted murderer will be sentenced for her crime.

Reportedly, the sentencing, which will take place at the Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix, Arizona, and will be streamed live.

According to AZ Central, Judge Sherry Stephens, who has been presiding over the case for quite some time now, will be deciding the on the nature of the sentence. Arias could be sentenced to life imprisonment or for a possible release after serving 25 years.

Arias was convicted of murdering her boyfriend, Alexander on June 4, 2008, in Mesa, Arizona. The victim has suffered multiple stab wounds, a slit throat and a gunshot to the head. Arias admitted to killing Alexander in self-defense.

On May 8, 2013, she was found guilty of first-degree murder by a Maricopa County Superior Court jury. Later she was found guilty of committing the murder in an especially cruel manner, which may be the reason behind her impending death penalty. The trial has been going on for than two and a half years now, when it began on Jan. 2, 2013.

Earlier on during the case, the defense lawyer, Kirk Nurmi talking about the trail, said Arias was the victim of a twisted relationship in which she was sexually humiliated by Alexander, who was killed after he and Arias had sex and took intimate photos, according to Yahoo.

The sentencing will be streamed live on HLN TV, CBS 5 AZ, ABC 15, FOX 10 and The Gold Patrol. According to CBS 5, Judge Stephens may not allow the coverage of certain parts of the sentencing for the live footage, since not all the witnesses wish to appear on camera.
