Jimmy Fallon News: 'Tonight Show' Host Spotted with Cast after Finger Injury

The famous 'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon recently stepped out and was seen for the first time publicly since his finger injury which required him to have a minor hand surgery. Fallon, who was in a casual attire was seen taking a private helicopter ride to the Hamptons with his hand in a cast.

The incident happened last June 26 when the famous comedy host incurred an accident at his Manhattan apartment Friday morning. He was apparently on his way for his usual taping for the show when the accident happened. "Jimmy Fallon was required to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning," the star's representative previously tole E! News. "He is expected to make a full recovery."

And indeed Fallon is close to achieving a full recovery even already being able to fly on a private helicopter. Fallon, being the comedienne that he is has been updating his followers about his current situation assuring them that he is just fine.

"Tweeting with one hand," Fallon wrote on Twitter along with a photo of his injured hand all wrapped up. "Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)! Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing)," he continued.

Meanwhile, Fallon also thanked his numerous fans and supporters for their well wishes posting a message on twitter saying, "#drugged #blessed...I'm doing well and thanks for good wishes everyone," he wrote.

So far, everything's looking great according to the host. "All looking great!! Thank you to these great doctors and nurses and Jello," Fallon again updated via his twitter account even replying to a fan directly when asked how his hand was healing writing, "Great. But was a little scary. Story to come when we return!"

Well, Fallon is hoped to be better soon and finally back in his show so he can finally put his jokes on live television as he also recently made everyone laugh with his recent post on twitter joking about his finger injury. "I think I've invented a new type of wedding ring. Let's talk... Neil? Kay? Jared? #IGotIdeas," he wrote.
