A few weeks ago, the couple shared their baby's first ultrasound picture on Instagram and talked about the pregnancy in an interview. "I actually got to feel him move a couple times this week," Duggar said.

"I had to give him a little squeeze but then he kicked back. It was really exciting," Dillard added, according to International Business Times.

Amidst the pregnancy excitement and holiday preparations, Dillard's grandmother passed away a week before Thanksgiving. He expressed his gratitude on Instagram and posted a picture of his grandma with the caption:

"So grateful that Jill and I got to speak with my grandmother this week before she passed away earlier today. You will be greatly missed Grandma Vergie, but we're looking forward to seeing you in Heaven before too long!"

Dillard mourned the loss of her husband's grandmother and reposted the photo with the caption: "Grandma Vergie, you will be greatly missed! Derick and I are so grateful we were able to speak with her recently before she passed away today."
