'Jessica Jones' Season 2 Renewal Rumors, Trailer: Will Krysten Ritter Star In A Next Season?

The first season of Jessica Jones recently ended with Jessica (Krysten Ritter) killing Kilgrave (David Tennant). After a successful first season, the question is: Will there be a second season?

Even though there is no announcement yet for a second season, Ritter told The Hollywood Reporter how much she enjoys playing the character and how much more story there is left to tell for Jessica Jones.

"It's such a tricky thing. I'm not supposed to talk about that. But I think there is lots of story left to tell with Jessica and I really love playing the character. I would love to throw on her boots and leather jacket anytime," she said.

Not knowing if she'll star in a second season or go straight to a "Defenders" series including all other superheroes like Daredevil, Ritter trusts Marvel in their next steps with regards to her character.

"Marvel and Netflix have proven they know what they're doing. But it will be interesting to see how Jessica Jones fits in with those other guys because she doesn't want to be a superhero. She doesn't want anything to do with that. I have no idea how she's going to be forced to team up with all of them," she continued.

Having a "Defenders" series is not so bad. Fans would get to see an Avengers -like story which airs new episodes every week. It's definitely something to watch out for.

While there's no confirmation yet, the production of "Jessica Jones" season 2 may happen (if ever they decide to go on another season) sometime around next year according to Christian Post.
