This week, Netflix revealed that it will air a new show entitled 'Jessica Jones' in 2015. Evidently, this new series will star Krysten Ritter, and will focuses on the Marvel character, Jessica Jones.

After hearing the news, comic book fans all over became incredibly excited about another Marvel television show! Marvel has steadily been bringing movies and television shows to their fans who are very happy to receive them.

Netflix also made the announcement that they will be bringing many other Marvel characters to their lineup.

Jones first debuted in Marvel comics in the Alias series. This show will focus on Jones' life after her career as a super hero did not go so well. She is now going to focus on rebuilding her life and her career.

The show will center on her new job as a detective. She will soon find that her cases all involve people with extraordinary abilities, much like super heroes. The show will take place in New York City.

Ritter is best known for her roles on 'Breaking Bad', 'Veronica Mars', and 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23'.

This series will be one of four apparently and will follow the new 'Daredevil' series that will also air on Netflix. In this series, Charlie Cox has been cast as Daredevil who is accompanied by Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.

Fans are extremely excited to see the new 'Jessica Jones' show and the talented Krysten Ritter portraying her. The show is set to have 13 episodes in the first season and let's hope it gets picked up for more than one! From what's already been revealed, this is bound to be a great, action packed series.
