Jessica Alba News: Actress' The Honest Company Sued Once Again For Their Sunscreen Product

Actress Jessica Alba has been known for being phenomenal in her acting, her family life, and even in her business, but currently she is challenged with a class action lawsuit for questioning the effectiveness of some of her products for her The Honest Company.

Just recently, reports are claiming that Alba's company and their product The Honest Sunscreen is ineffective to the point that several had sun burn and that the class action are claiming that the 30 SPF sunscreen of the Honest Company is in fact changed and removed more than half of the zinc oxide chemical which is the one that actually protects the users from the harmful heat of the sun.

The class action law suit is reportedly claiming $5 Million. Apparently, this isn't the first time that the company was involved in a criticism regarding the same product back in July. However, the company previously released a statement discrediting previous claims that their sunscreen is ineffective.

"The Honest Company is committed to providing safe and effective products and take all consumer feedback very seriously. Our Sunscreen Lotion was tested, by an independent 3rd party, against the protocols prescribed by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration's (FDA) monograph for over-the-counter sunscreen products. The results showed that our product is effective and safe for use as an 80 minute water-resistant (FDA's highest rating), SPF 30 sunscreen lotion in accordance with FDA regulations when used as directed (Shake Well. Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours). We stand behind the safety and efficacy of this product," the company said in statement released to E! News.

There are still no further comments or statements regarding the current reported issue from Alba herself or any representative of the Honest Company.
