Jessica Alba News: Actress Embraces her 'Different' Look, Compared to her Style in her Twenties
Actress Jessica Alba recently opened up about her fashion and her lifestyle in her twenties saying how she was a "hot mess" despite what others might say to her in their purpose of "dolling" her up. Now, Alba, being a mom to two and a wife truly embraces her look and her body.
In her recent interview with OK! Magazine, Alba revealed how much she dislikes her style and her looks back when she was still in her twenties. Apparently, Alba switched hairdressers, stylists, and the whole style team since she is unsatisfied and apparently not pleased with how she was dressed before.
"My idea of how I need to look has completely changed," she told the magazine. "I used to listen to stylists and make-up artists and hairdressers that I didn't know that well, and they would just doll me up how they wanted to and I would look crazy," Alba said.
The former 'Honey' star recalled how she looked like in her early twenties saying, "Basically anything before I was 24, I looked crazy, just wrong," she says. "There are lots of photos of me out there looking like a hot mess!"
Ever since the actress became a mom and a wife, Alba reveals that she isn't that pressured about her body compared to when she was single. "I don't care about [weight] as much after having kids. I'm bigger than I was before and I'm totally fine with it," she shared adding, "I embrace how I look in a different way."
Embracing how she looks now seems like it is going well since she was recently photographed in a bikini which she wore well as she was very much fit despite her now lack of pressure to stay in shape. "I don't feel any pressure to stay in shape for anyone else," she explained. "When I was younger, I used to do the 'body builder' diet, which is awful. Everything is steamed and it's just a handful of everything. I hated my life, it was so miserable! Having some sort of balance and moderation is key," Alba added.
