Jeremy Renner News: 'Avengers' Star Fires Back at Ex-Wife Sonni Pacheco's Divorce Demands

After the dramatic filing for divorce of actor Jeremy Renner's ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, the 'Avengers' actor recently fired back and filed a response last Friday re-stating their prenuptial agreement against the demands of Pacheco.

While others thought that Renner will all throughout be the recessive one, the actor surprised everyone by filing his own legal demands, in the form of reiterating their prenuptial agreement and therefore limiting his ex-wife's demands.

Pacheco, upon their separation has asked for Renner's spousal support that she can claim as Renner's former wife although according to their prenup, it reportedly states that Pacheco signed to waive that right. "Under the terms of the Parties' Prenuptial Agreement, Petitioner has waived the right to receive spousal support," the document states.

Not only that, the prenup also reportedly includes "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects" and money Renner made before, during and after their 10-month marriage. Reportedly, there are mandated financial areas where Renner has the duty to give to his former wife but there are however areas that the two waived to give. "There are additional separate property assets and obligations of each party as mandated by the Parties' Premarital Agreement," Renner's filing continues.

It was a powerful document according to several reports and it is definitely a useful tool to protect the actor's finances as he presented a true and certified agreement between him and Pacheco before they married each other.

Meanwhile, another important aspect of their divorce is their 22-month-old daughter Ava whom the two want custody. Although Renner was reported to be fighting for joint custody of the child, it is still unknown what will happen since an initial hearing was just scheduled on April 1 to deal with the former married couple's issues.

No statements yet were obtained from either of the parties regarding the released documents filed in court.
