Jeremy Lin Trade Rumors: Houston Rockets May Look to Swap Point Guards with Toronto Raptors' Kyle Lowry (VIDEO)

Jeremy Lin trade rumors are heating up as the Houston Rockets and the Toronto Raptors might be involved in a trade deadline deal that includes NBA point guards Jeremy Lin and Kyle Lowry and Francisco Garcia, according to numerous sources.

With the future Feb. 20 NBA trade deadline drawing close, these two playoff-aspiring franchises are projected to rule the trade rumors for the following three weeks as they look to enhance their current rosters.

The Rockets have formerly expressed their objective to trade Garcia in exchange for a solid competitor. But the newest trade rumor stated the Rockets are open to include both Lin and Garcia in a deal for Lowry.

Lowry has been at the middle of trade gossips, despite the fact he has been one of the major surprises this year for the Raptors. The point guard has aided the Toronto Raptors to the third-best record in the Eastern Conference.

Lowry is averaging 16.4 points and 7.5 assists per game for the Raptors, who presently have the third-best record in the weak Eastern Conference. Many basketball analysts assume the Raptors would still trade him because the front office is aware that they are not good enough to contend with the Eastern Conference goliaths, the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.

Lin is currently averaging 13.3 points, 4.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game this season for the Houston Rockets.
