Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has welcomed her second child with her husband, actor Brian Hallisay, into the world.

Atticus James Hallisay arrived on last Wednesday, as has been confirmed by the star's representative in a statement to PEOPLE magazine.

Thirteen months after the couple had their first child, Autumn James, who is now 18 months old, the couple announced that they were expecting another baby together.

Hewitt has said that she always enjoys pregnancy. "I feel my best when I'm pregnant, which means I probably should have 18 children - it won't happen - but I do feel good," the thirty six year old actress told American Baby in April.

Although Hewitt has had two children in under two years, she and her husband are not worried about the hard work they have in store for them.

Hewitt was recently named the face of Palmer's pregnancy products.

"We didn't have a night nurse, we didn't have nanny," said the former Criminal Minds star to PEOPLE in May. "We haven't ever had any of that stuff. It's been really interesting to do it all ourselves."

Earlier this year, when Hewitt spoke to People magazine as part of her promotion of Palmer's stretch mark cream, she said that she and her hubby opted not to learn the sex of their baby ahead of time, which she said made her family and friends crazy.

Apparently, Hallisay had a strong feeling that it would be another girl, however a bouncing baby boy must have been a pleasant surprise.

Hewitt, who used be very open with her private life, has not yet shared any photographs of her daughter to her fans or the media.
